The support is made of breathable, rigid textile, provided with:
• 2 lateral plastic splints located on the posterior component, to support the lumbar area
• 4 paravertebral plastic splints located on the posterior component, to support the thoracolumbosacral area
• 2 plastic splints located on the anterior component, to support the abdominal area
• 2 elastic straps of 5,5 cm that provide lumbar compression
• 2 straps that surround the shoulder, correcting the position of the torso through traction.
The straps have an elastic and a rigid component, are positioned over the head of the humerus, are adjustable by cutting and are provided with a posterior guide to prevent them from slipping into the armpit. The straps are closed anteriorly, on the corset.
The support is closed with hook and loop fastener on the front side.
Width: front 16 cm, back height between 53 – 55 cm, depending on size.
For an easy application it is provided with helping strips.
The 2 lateral and the 2 paravertebral plastic rods stabilize the thoracolumbar region, slightly reducing lordosis and kyphosis, and the compression exerted by the elastic bands stimulates local metabolism, reducing muscle
tension and pain.
