It is a tubular, closed orthosis, made of textile, provided with:
• a non-slip silicone elastic band (10mm) inside the upper part
• 4 spring type metal splints, 2 on each side
• 2 pieces for the patella, not attached to the orthosis, in the shape of the letter "Y", one for use on the left limb, the other for the right limb. The patella pieces are
made of neoprene and are provided with hook and loop fastener on all 3 edges
• patellar support (polyethylene foam).

The orthosis is a support for the knee joint, the 2 spring type metal splints for each side providing stability and safety in use. Due to its tubular, sleeve shape, it is not recommended to be used in case of oedema or significant swelling.
It is used in cricks, luxations, post consolidated fractures, inflammatory processes, lateral knee joint instability, instability of the knee cap, osteoarthritis.
It is recommended both as orthopedic treatment and postoperative.
