The orthosis is made of 2 metal splints with adjustable length, with mobile, adjustable and lockable articulations, one on each side. The orthosis is provided with 4 textile pads for calf protection and 4 textile pads for thigh protection. The adjustment device is easily accessed ,the angle is adjusted with 2 clips. These clips are operated by pressing and moving them to the desired position. The length is adjusted between 50 - 63 cm, using buttons located on the metal splint rods. The possibilities of limiting the movement are:
- flexion 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 105°, 120°
- extension 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°
• 2 hook and loop straps on the leg
• 2 hook and loop straps on the thigh.
The length of the 4 straps is adjustable by cutting and repositioning the hook and loop. Length: 50 – 63 cm. Due to its particular shape, it can be used also in case of a deformed knee. The compression can be adjusted by the frontal closure system and the 4 fastening straps.
It is used for postoperative immobilization, the control of the flexion and extension of the knee joint, traumas or injuries at the level of the knee or minor fractures.
Laminated textile. The laminated textile ensemble behaves like a moisture regulator, ensuring a quick transfer of the moisture to outward.
